Proficiency Grading Update

Principal’s Message:

In just our second year of building wide implementation of Proficiency Based Teaching and Learning, I want to thank each one of our educational community members who has taken the time to join in the discussion about continuing to improve Madras High School.  It is through these discussions and experience that we move forward with this grade point average calculation for the 2014-2015 school year.  This change recognizes the increase in academic rigor at MHS. Additionally, it takes into account the performance of our learners demonstrating the skills and knowledge of every course standard to achieve high school credit.
